Placing Links to Picasa Photo Albums into this Blog
You can embed links to Picasa photo albums or create slide shows on a blog entry by cutting and pasting HTML code from the Picasa album -- easier than it sounds. Go to your Picasa Web album and click on the "Link to this Album" on the right side of the window. Then select either "Paste HTML to embed in website" or "Embed Slideshow." If you select "Paste HTML to embed in website" highlight all of the text in the appropriate bar of code, right click on the highlighted text, and select "copy". Then go to your editing window at the blog site, and click on the "Edit HTML" tab at the top right of the editing window. Make sure your cursor is on a new line and press and hold the control key and press the "V" key. That will paste the HTML text you copied from your Picasa album into your blog entry. Now click on the "Compose" tab of the editing window. Your album cover should appear and you can continue with your entry.
If you selected "Embed Slideshow" (as I did for this post), you will get a small pop-up window with some code in a yellow box. Select all of that code, right click on the highlighted text, and select "copy." Then go to your blog editing window, click on the "Edit HTML" tab, make sure your cursor is on a new line, and paste the HTML text you copied into the editing window. Then click on the "Compose" tab of the editing window and your album slide show should be there.
